Join Guthrie's established Corning surgical team and help grow high-quality general surgery care in the Finger Lakes region.
Guthrie Medical Group seeks a BC/BE General Surgeon to join East Corning General Surgery and Guthrie Corning Hospital . This is an opportunity to build a rewarding practice within an established multi-provider surgical clinic and a physician-led, integrated health system.
Highlights of the Position
  • Join East Corning General Surgery, a seven-provider clinic that includes General Surgery, Breast Surgery, Colon and Rectal Surgery, and surgical APP support.
  • Practice at Guthrie Corning Hospital, a modern 65-bed hospital and regional cancer center serving the greater Corning market.
  • Provide broad-based General Surgery care within a collaborative setting that already supports hernia surgery, gallbladder surgery, bowel surgery, skin lesion management, colonoscopy, and upper endoscopy.
  • Leverage Guthrie's use of laparoscopic, minimally invasive, and robotic surgical capabilities across the General Surgery service line.
  • Work in close coordination with breast surgery and colorectal colleagues for multidisciplinary patient care.
  • Benefit from an integrated referral network across Guthrie primary care, cancer care, and specialty services.
Candidate Requirements
