Carl Black Automotive Group is a growing organization that focuses our efforts on 100% customer satisfaction. The Carl Black Automotive Group is four successful privately owned GM dealerships in the southeast region. Our Carl Black Chevrolet Nashville locations is currently seeking GM Master/World Class technicians to be rewarded for their accomplishments in training and productivity abilities. We are looking for technicians who are energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for must have a strong passion for doing what’s right for our guest.

Requirements:

  • 5 Years of General Motors Automotive repair experience.
  • GM Master/World Class training
  • Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
  • Team player, strong work ethic, commitment to quality
  • Clean driving record and Drug Free are Required.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry into management system.

Job Duties:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in the repair and diagnosis of engines, differentials, transmissions, HVAC systems, Steering systems, electronics to include ECM's, ECU's, sensors etc., cooling system, braking systems including ABS, suspension systems.
  • Perform multi-point vehicle inspection to identify needed maintenance or repairs.
  • Provide estimates including labor and parts pricing to service advisor.
  • Identify warranty repairs and document repairs as described in warranty procedure manual.
  • Maintain work area appearance and safety.
  • Continuously expanding your knowledge for new technologies and maintain required training status.
  • Maintain own supply of tools.
