Job Summary
Naniq Global Logistics is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our Amazon Gateway Operations team. This role is responsible for overseeing air cargo handling, package sortation, trucking coordination, safety, compliance, staffing, and overall operational performance.
The General Manager will provide leadership for the loading and unloading of Boeing 767 cargo aircraft, package sortation operations, and ground support activities while ensuring compliance with Amazon, TSA, DOT, and company standards.
This position reports directly to the Regional General Manager and serves as a key operational leader responsible for driving operational excellence, employee engagement, safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
The operation runs 7 days per week during late evening and early morning hours. This is a full-time leadership position that generally works a 5-day schedule, with occasional weekend coverage as business needs require.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 annually (DOE)
In compliance with Hawaii pay transparency requirements, the posted range reflects the anticipated compensation for this position. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, skills, and internal equity.

Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
  • Oversee daily Amazon Gateway operations, including aircraft loading and unloading, package sortation, ground support services, and transportation coordination.
  • Ensure operational performance meets customer and company KPIs.
  • Monitor workflow, staffing levels, and operational efficiency.
Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with TSA, DOT, OSHA, customer, and company standards.
  • Monitor and report safety, security, and theft incidents.
  • Promote a culture of safety and accountability.
Leadership & Workforce Management
  • Lead, coach, and develop supervisors, administrative staff, and warehouse employees.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, performance, attendance, and employee engagement.
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and timesheet review processes.
Customer Service & Reporting
  • Prepare and submit operational reports.
  • Monitor customer performance dashboards and portals.
  • Maintain strong relationships with Amazon and key stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement
  • Analyze operational metrics and implement process improvements.
  • Manage equipment, warehouse resources, and operational readiness.
  • Lead shift debriefs and operational reviews.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in logistics, transportation, air cargo, warehouse, distribution, package sortation, or supply chain operations.
  • 3+ years of experience leading supervisors and frontline employees.
  • Experience managing high-volume operations, operational KPIs, compliance requirements, and customer service standards.
  • Knowledge of TSA, DOT, and OSHA regulations.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, ADP, WMS, TMS, Amazon Relay, or similar operational systems.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Aviation Management, or a related field.
  • Experience with Amazon, FedEx, UPS, DHL, air cargo, freight forwarding, or transportation operations.
  • Aircraft ground handling experience.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience.
Additional Requirements
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
  • Must pass all required background checks, including airport and/or SIDA clearances.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work in warehouse, ramp, and outdoor environments in varying weather conditions.
