Job Description:
Sanctuary at The Oaks is seeking a compassionate and dedicatedย Caregiverย to join ourย Anam Caraย memory care unit. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about supporting seniors, especially those with Alzheimerโ€™s disease and other forms of dementia.
The Anam Cara unitโ€”named after the Gaelic phrase for โ€œsoul friendโ€โ€”is rooted in providing heartfelt, personalized care that nurtures the whole person: body, mind, and spirit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility
  • Provide emotional support, companionship, and safety monitoring to residents with cognitive impairments
  • Assist with meal setup and feeding when needed
  • Observe and report changes in residentsโ€™ conditions to nursing staff
  • Maintain a clean, comfortable, and respectful care environment
  • Follow all facility protocols for safety, care plans, and documentation
  • Collaborate with fellow caregivers and medical staff to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
