This is an opportunity to join an industry leader specializing in concrete repair, structural strengthening, historic restoration, waterproofing, façade rehabilitation, and building envelope solutions.
In this highly visible role, you'll work directly with building owners, engineers, architects, property managers, and general contractors to identify, develop, and capture opportunities across commercial, healthcare, higher education, mixed-use, and technology markets.
What You'll Do
  • Develop and grow relationships with owners, engineers, architects, property managers, and contractors throughout the Greater Boston and New England markets
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new project opportunities within commercial construction, repair, and restoration markets
  • Manage opportunities and maintain accurate pipeline, account, and activity data within Salesforce
  • Develop pursuit and capture strategies in collaboration with operations, estimating, and technical teams
  • Support proposal strategy and development, helping position PULLMAN's capabilities and solutions to meet client needs
  • Coordinate and support prequalification packages, vendor registrations, and other client qualification requirements
  • Lead sales presentations, lunch-and-learns, client meetings, industry events, and networking initiatives
  • Collaborate with operations and technical teams to develop innovative solutions for complex structural challenges
  • Track pursuits, client activity, and upcoming opportunities to support strategic business planning and forecasting
  • Manage the business development process from initial opportunity identification and qualification through proposal, negotiation, and project award
  • Drive revenue growth while expanding PULLMAN's market presence throughout the region

What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of business development or sales experience within the commercial construction industry
  • Strong network and established relationships throughout the Greater Boston construction market
  • Experience calling on and developing relationships with owners, engineers, architects, property managers, and general contractors
  • Proven track record of developing opportunities and meeting or exceeding sales and revenue goals
  • Experience using Salesforce to manage client relationships, opportunities, pipeline activity, and sales forecasting
  • Experience supporting proposal development, prequalification submissions, vendor registrations, and pursuit/capture planning
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with operations, estimating, and technical teams throughout the pursuit process
  • Construction, restoration, building envelope, or specialty contracting experience is highly preferred

Why PULLMAN?
For more than 45 years, PULLMAN and Structural Group have been helping make structures stronger and last longer. Our teams tackle some of the most complex repair, restoration, and strengthening projects across North America.
You'll join a collaborative team of industry experts, work on high-profile projects, and have the opportunity to directly influence the growth of one of the most respected specialty contractors in the industry.
Location & Travel: Boston-area based with travel throughout the New England region (70-80%).
Compensation: We anticipate end-of-year total compensation, including base salary and bonuses, in the range of $185,000-$205,000, based on education, experience, and performance.
You'll also have access to career growth opportunities, industry-leading technical resources, and a strong pipeline of opportunities as we continue expanding our presence throughout New England.
Ready to build relationships, capture opportunities, solve complex challenges, and help shape the future of the built environment? We'd love to connect.
