Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth assessments and evaluations to accurately identify clients' mental health needs.
  • Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
  • Deliver therapy services to individuals, families, and groups, integrating various methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness-Based practices.
  • Collaborate closely with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
  • Provide timely crisis intervention to clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies, ensuring their safety and stability.
  • Engage in community outreach initiatives, promoting mental health awareness, and educating the public on available services.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and various other mental health issues. Our focus on inclusivity means you will be interacting with clients from all walks of life, emphasizing cultural competence and sensitivity in your interactions and treatment strategies. Your ability to connect with clients and adapt your approach based on their unique backgrounds and experiences is crucial to fostering effective therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications
  • A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport with clients.
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain detailed client records and comply with documentation standards.
  • Cultural competency to effectively work with a client base that represents a wide range of backgrounds.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience in an outpatient counseling setting or community health center is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices.
  • Experience in developing and leading group therapy sessions.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.

  • A competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
