Invasive Cardiology Administrative Operations, O3 Wage

This job family coordinates, integrates and administers a range of diverse administrative or staff functions. Jobs in this group are typically responsible for managing the daily operations and administrative functions of university departments, and include office management, scheduling, and coordination of activities across departments. UVA Administrative staff support strategic goals and ensure smooth university operations. These roles are responsible for providing administrative services to the organizations schools/units/leadership. Activities may include preparing documents of varying complexity, managing the collection, recording, sorting and filing of data/information, preparing reports, making travel arrangements, arranging appointments/meetings, responding to inquiries. This position will support Invasive Cardiology. Individual contributors who provide support to an organization, often in direct service, operational, technical or administrative functions. Spends majority of time in the delivery of support services or activities, typically under supervision. Opportunities for progression outside this career stream are typically limited without additional education or significant training and experience. Seasoned individual contributor. Works under limited supervision for routine situations. Provides assistance and training to lower level employees. Problems are typically non-routine and require analysis to understand. Makes minor adjustments to working methods and independently develops solutions to problems. Explains practices, procedures and policies to reach agreement with others outside of the Job Area.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School Graduate or equivalent required. Experience: 3+ years relevant experience required. Licensure: None required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs. The starting base rate for this role is $12.77 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
