What Pharmacy Operations and Account Management Contributes to Cardinal Health:

Pharmacy Operations is responsible for the safe, efficient and effective coordination of Cardinal Health's pharmacy operations that service acute care hospitals, hospital retail customers, ambulatory care and alternate site facilities, oncology and cardiology practices as well as retail customers.

Pharmacy Operations and Account Management is responsible for strategic leadership direction, account management, and fiscal performance for assigned customers. Responsible for long-term relationship building and managing the success of the relationships with customers in order to achieve the goals and objectives identified by the customer and Cardinal Health. Sells products and services that help facilitate patient care.

This position will work remotely but travel required up to 50% of the time

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred

  • 8-12 years of experience, preferred

  • Applies advanced knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projects

  • Participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals

  • Recommends new practices, processes, metrics, or models

  • Works on or may lead complex projects of large scope

  • Projects may have significant and long-term impact

  • Provides solutions which may set precedent

  • Independently determines method for completion of new projects

  • Receives guidance on overall project objectives

  • Acts as a mentor to less experienced colleagues

Responsibilities:

  • Project Management support for Outpatient, Specialty and CHC pharmacy solutions

  • Operational and administrative support

  • Support business growth strategy for ambulatory care and specialty pharmacies, client relationship management, metrics reporting, and 340B optimization

  • Preparation and presentation of Desktop and Business Development Assessments

  • Participation in build/open projects

  • Licensing, enrollments, accreditation (URAC/ACHC)

  • Specialty support as determined by Specialty Pharmacy Director

Qualifications:

  • Ability to travel to multiple locations as required by Business Development and Implementation Director

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule

  • Interpersonal relations and customer service skills

  • Multitasking and time management skills

  • 340B experience

  • Demonstrate competency, knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, and Excel) and clear understanding of pharmacy information systems and point of sale for use and reporting

  • Preferred experince using Compass Rose, Epic and Asembia software

Anticipated salary range:$121,600-$156,330
