Job description

What Revenue Management contributes to Cardinal Health
Revenue Management is responsible for developing, communicating, and leading the execution of market strategy and profitability optimization through pricing and value-capture activities at both the strategic and tactical levels. The group uses modeling, analytics, and econometrics to create deal strategies for our products and services.
Deal Management owns the entire deal process, including collaborating with sales to translate offer strategy into a customer-specific deal strategy and pricing, facilitating the deal approval process and related governance, and financial modeling of deal economics across a variety of scenarios.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of advisors in the deal management function across multiple classes of trade, overseeing the financial modeling, structuring, and approval of complex customer contract inputs.

  • Partner directly with Sales and Marketing to develop targeted negotiation strategies and deal structures that protect margins, drive revenue growth, and win market share.

  • Lead modeling for new business opportunities, RFP's and strategic partnerships.

  • Help design and implement executive-level reporting mechanisms to track deal win/loss rates and identify what it takes to win.

  • Collaborate and negotiate effectively across a highly matrixed environment, gaining alignment on strategy with Sales, Operations, Marketing, Legal, and Finance.

  • Communicate effectively across the organization regarding profitization opportunities and key deal insights.

  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to develop a deep understanding of customer segments, competitor offerings and market trends and provide guidance and direction related to pricing and revenue management strategies.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience, preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field, preferred
