Job description

Schedule: Tuesday-Thursday from 7:00am-3:30pm (or until work finish), Fridays from 8:00am-4:30pm (or until work finish), and Saturdays from 5:30am-1:30pm (or until work finish).

Pay Rate: $20.85 per hour.

Bonus eligible: No.

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Our warehouse team members make it all happen. You will receive and fulfill orders so our customers can have the products they need to take care of their patients.

Responsibilities

  • Driving material handling equipment such as a reach truck and/or order/cherry picker to pick orders or pull stock to replenish warehouses.
  • Cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse and/or participating in projects as assigned by your manager or other management team members as needed.
  • Adherence to site safety regulations including wearing required personal protective equipment such as composite toed safety shoes, and material handling equipment safety harness; accountable to Cardinal Health's EHS as well as QRA policies and procedures.
  • May be responsible for working in cold temperatures throughout segments of the shift.
  • Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with material handling equipment (order/cherry picker, reach truck, forklift), preferred
  • Must be willing to be trained and certified on all equipment within the facility, including order/cherry picker, reach truck, forklift, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider
  • Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly, required
  • Ability to lift up 50 Ibs
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift
  • Ability to follow direction and change priorities
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with technologies, like computers or point of sale systems, a plus
  • High School Diploma/GED preferred
