Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated PCU RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care, manage critical patients in the progressive care unit, and support an efficient care environment. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient well-being.

Duties

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and manage complex care plans for progressive care patients.
• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and responding to critical changes.
• Document all procedures accurately in electronic health record systems, such as Epic or Meditech.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain patient safety standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and workflow efficiency.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RN in a PCU or high-acuity care setting.
• Experience in high-volume or urban healthcare settings is preferred.

Requirements

• Active California RN license.
• Certifications in ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and proof of COVID vaccination are required.
• Float to Tele or MedSurg
• This position is ideal for a detail-oriented and adaptable PCU RN who thrives in a high-stakes, patient-centered environment.
