Cardboard Handler - Warehouse

As a Material Handler, you'll support warehouse operations by safely managing and baling cardboard scrap, helping keep our production areas organized and running smoothly. This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals who enjoy physical work and take safety seriously.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Pay
  • Hourly Pay: $17.00/hr - $17.00/hr
  • Shift Differential: $0.75/hr - $2.00/hr, depending on shift and location

Career Growth

What You'll Do:

  • Operate baler equipment safely and efficiently
  • Load and process scrap cardboard into the baler machine
  • Create and remove baled bundles of cardboard
  • Identify reusable boxes and stack, band, and prepare for shipment
  • Support housekeeping and cleanliness across production areas
  • Follow safety procedures and report any concerns to supervisors
  • Perform all duties in compliance with company SOPs and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs

What We're Looking For:

  • Education & Experience:
    • High school diploma or GED (required)
    • At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (preferred)
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Physical stamina to walk quickly for full shift period on concrete floors
    • Ability to lift and move heavy materials regularly (up to 75 lbs)
    • Ability to stay focused and follow instructions consistently
    • Basic understanding of safety practices and machinery operation
    • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently

Physical Requirements:

  • Stand/walk on concrete floors for extended periods
  • Lift and carry up to 75 lbs from floor to waist level
  • Push/pull loaded bins or pallets weighing up to 100 lbs
  • Climb step ladders and maintain balance while working at heights
  • Must have clear vision, peripheral awareness, and ability to distinguish colors
  • Must be able to hear alarms and spoken instructions over plant noise
  • Must have the stamina to walk quickly and work overtime or extended shifts as needed
