Job description

Forklift Operator

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator with experience handling bundles of cardboard without skids. The ideal candidate will also assist with general labor tasks, including sorting products and assembling packaging displays.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a sit-down forklift to stack and unstack cardboard bundles.
  • Load and unload trucks efficiently.
  • Assist with general labor duties as needed.
  • Assemble and build displays for packaging products.
  • Stand for the entire shift while performing job duties.
  • Sort through boxes to identify usable and defective products.
  • Follow all company safety guidelines and supervisor instructions.

Requirements:

  • Must have experience handling cardboard bundles with no skid in between.
  • Prior experience loading and unloading trucks.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Team player with a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a warehouse or packaging environment.
  • Knowledge of basic safety procedures for forklift operation.
