Sales Associate

Marcotte Ford, one of the area’s largest volume Ford stores is seeking driven, customer service-oriented professionals to join our team.  Automobile sales experience is welcomed but not required.  Our ideal person desires a career in sales and is looking for long-term growth within a company that breeds success.  We are looking for candidates with the following qualities:  coachable mindset with willingness to learn; goal oriented and hungry to succeed; outgoing and personable; team player mentality; strong verbal skills, computer proficient and comfortable on the phone.

Automotive Car Sales Associate Responsibilities:

  • Approach, greet, and offer assistance or direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot.
  • Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
  • Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospects.
  • Describe all optional equipment available for customer purchase.
  • Build a strong rapport with customers.
  • Perform high-quality, professional, and knowledgeable presentation and demonstration of new/used vehicles.
  • Report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.

Automotive Sales Consultant Qualifications:

  • Car sales experience is preferred.
  • Automotive dealership
  • Customer service experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Positive attitude and demeanor
  • Strong listening and verbal communication skills
  • Strong focus and desire to achieve sales goals.
