  • Accurately capture outpatient charges and ensure timely submission.

  • Monitor and meet daily/weekly revenue targets and KPIs.

  • Review medical records for coding accuracy and compliance.

  • Identify and resolve missing or conflicting encounter information.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payer policies and billing regulations.

  • Utilize charge capture system and pipelines to forecast revenue potential.

  • Resolve charge denials and reworkables with root-cause analysis.

  • Collaborate with clinical staff to obtain clarifications for ambiguous charges.

  • Participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives.

  • Prepare and maintain audit-ready documentation of charge capture activities.

  • Escalate high-risk issues and variances to leadership with recommended actions.

  • Provide timely feedback and mentoring to peers to promote learning.
