Northrop Grumman is seeking a Business Development Operations Manager1 to support key growth initiatives in our Space Systems sector.

The incumbent willdrive pipeline development, capture & proposal activities, and BDprocess alignment while partnering with Capture, Strategy, and enterprisewide teams. This position can be based at the Chandler, AZ or McLean, VA campus. In this role, you will be supporting the portfolio management, strategy, business development, customer relations, partnerships, and capture support to ensure a robust backlog and healthy pipeline of domestic and international opportunities.

Core Responsibilities BD Operations Management - Own pipeline administration, opportunity tracking, and internal process alignment across the sector. Capture & Proposal Support - Conduct data analysis, prepare gatereview materials, and maintain capture documentation. System Oversight - Measure, maintain, and enhance BD tools (e.g., Salesforce, reporting dashboards)

CrossFunctional Collaboration - Lead liaison efforts among Capture, BD, and Strategy teams at sector and enterprise levels. People Management - Supervise and mentor direct reports; coordinate training events. Metrics & Reporting - Assess key performance indicators and produce regular health reports for sector leadership.

Governance & Compliance - Ensure adherence to NorthropGrumman's BD governance and acquisition processes. Special Projects - Lead emerging captures, pursuit management, and other adhoc initiatives directed by senior leaders. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree (Business, Engineering, PoliticalScience, InternationalAffairs, or related) +5years relevant experience or Master's degree (same fields) +3years relevant experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint essential) Strong organizational, communication, and analytical abilities; comfortable presenting to senior executives Support coordination for key events or engagements Strategic thinking with the ability to influence senior leadership and customer decisionmakers Familiarity with the Business Acquisitions Process (BAP) Active Secret clearance at time of application Preferred Qualifications Defense, aerospace, or governmentcontracting experience Handson experience with Salesforce, Tableau, or comparable CRM/analytics tools Deep knowledge of DoD acquisition lifecycle & capturemanagement processes Eligibility to obtain a TS/SCI clearance Why Northrop Grumman At Northrop Grumman, we are committed to defining what's possible in space, defense, and security.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
