The Capture Director ensures that all stakeholders are aligned on the pursuit plan, facilitates communication between technical experts and proposal writers, and often conducts competitive analysis to refine the approach. Effective collaboration is essential, as the Capture Director acts as the central point of contact to drive the pursuit from early qualification through proposal submission.
