Job Description

In this role, you'll take the lead on core integrations that shape product scalability and power platform innovation which enables faster time-to-market for new features. The ideal TPM will exercise full autonomy and ownership in defining the vision, roadmap, and execution of mission-critical projects in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. You'll also collaborate closely with a talented team of engineers, designers, and cross-functional colleagues, all dedicated to delivering best-in-class solutions that drive both personal growth and product excellence.

Responsibilities

Champion the Product Vision & Strategy:

a) Develop and maintain a forward-thinking roadmap for the Influential Powered by Captiv8's integration ecosystem, balancing near-term wins with long-term scalability.

b) Serve as the internal ambassador for API-driven connectivity, articulating the business value of integrations to leadership and stakeholders.

Drive Technical Collaboration:

a) Work hand-in-hand with architects and engineers to define robust, secure, and scalable integrations with third-party platforms and internal systems.

b) Conduct architecture reviews, diving deep into performance metrics and system design to ensure efficient, maintainable solutions.

Requirements Gathering & Documentation

a) Translate high-level business needs into clear, actionable PRDs, user stories and acceptance criteria.

b) Own the end-to-end traceability process in Jira and Confluence, ensuring seamless visibility from concept to delivery.

Research & Prioritize Customer Needs

a) Conduct user discovery sessions and solicit feedback from stakeholders, sales, support and end-users to identify the most impactful features.

b) Stay current on industry and competitive trends, adapting your integration strategy to seize new opportunities and address gaps quickly.

Backlog Ownership

a) Curate, refine and prioritize the backlog, balancing feature development, technical debt, and bug fixes to maximize efficiency and product quality.

b) Partner closely with engineering to define clear acceptance criteria and ensure backlog items are always sprint-ready.

Facilitate Cross-Functional Success

a) Act as the linchpin between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring everyone understands scope, requirements, and user value.

b) Collaborate with QA to plan comprehensive testing strategies, mitigating risks and guaranteeing high-quality releases.

Monitor Performance & Quality

a) Set KPIs for key integration points, track outcomes, and leverage data to refine features post-launch.

b) Use observability tools to visualize performance trends, proactively addressing potential bottlenecks or issues.

Lead Release Management

a) Steer UAT cycles and make informed go/no-go decisions at major project milestones.

b) Coordinate with Product Marketing and Support to deliver release notes, help articles, and training materials that resonate with diverse audiences.

Qualifications

5-8 years of experience in technical product management, ideally focused on APIs and large-scale platform development

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Proven track record of defining and launching RESTful APIs, SDKs or integration frameworks, translating complex concepts into business outcomes.

Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, backlog grooming, and sprint management tools (JIRA, Confluence)

Solid understanding of observability and monitoring best practices to ensure peak product performance.

Outstanding communication skills enabling discussions with engineering on technical details and summarizing business value for executive stakeholders

Ability to work with a sense of high-agency and a self-starter who can navigate ambiguity and drive results in a fast-paced setting.

Compensation Range: $150,000 - $180,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
