Position Summary: Provides project coordination support as assigned by direct leader to meet department and organizational goals. Assists where necessary or through project management those business ventures undertaken by the Company to ensure its profitable future.

Department Specific Requirements: Commercial Programs

  • Serves as a subject matter expert supporting commercial program execution, operational performance, and issue resolution.

  • Participates in operational coordination for the commercial lines of business, including but not limited to ACA Marketplace, Medicare Supplement, and Employ-Sponsored Plans.

  • Supports compliance with ACA marketplace requirements, Medicare Supplement, state insurance laws and regulations, ERISA, and employer plan contractual obligations.

  • Identifies and executes opportunities to improve operational efficiency, automation, and program performance.

  • Liaison with key internal and external stakeholders, coordination cross-functionally for initiatives that impact the commercial line of business, including, but not limited to: product development, benefit design, operational workflows, custom experience initiatives, provider engagement, data and analytics, and enrollment and eligibility.

  • Supports vendor oversight and coordination activities as outlined by leadership.

Qualifications Required:
  • Associate degree in business, information services, or related field; or a High School diploma or equivalent (GED) with two (2) years of relevant experience; or a High School diploma or equivalent (GED) with completion of a certification program such as: APM (Associate in Project Management) or CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management).
  • Two (2) years' experience in process and/or project coordination.
Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, information services, or related field
  • Two (2) years' experience and knowledge of HMO or PPO (e.g. accounting/finance, reinsurance, regulatory compliance, claims processing, membership/eligibility, actuarial precepts).
