Job Description


Overview:

The Game Day Custodian is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout Ting Stadium during all Holly Springs Salamanders home games. This includes trash removal, restroom upkeep, concourse cleaning, and general facility upkeep to ensure a safe and pleasant experience for all guests.

Work Schedule:

This is a seasonal position requiring availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

  • Clean and restock restrooms throughout the stadium before, during, and after events.
  • Maintain cleanliness of seating areas, aisles, and concourses by removing trash and debris.
  • Empty trash and recycling bins and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
  • Perform spot cleaning during events to ensure areas remain clean and presentable for guests.
  • Respond promptly to spills or other maintenance needs to ensure guest safety.
  • Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, sweepers, and pressure washers as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (walking, standing, lifting, carrying, and bending).
  • Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working around large crowds in a fast-paced setting.
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, crouch, climb as needed for cleaning.
  • Ability to walk, stand and climb stairs frequently and for an extended period of time.
  • Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
