Job description


Overview:

The Durham Bulls are seeking a motivated and service-oriented professional to join our Box Office team for the 2026 year. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service while supporting ticket operations and sales efforts. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, fan-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

  • Process and service ticket orders using the ticketing system
  • Assist with season ticket and plan renewals
  • Establish and maintain professional working relationships with ballpark staff, partners, and clients
  • Deliver a consistently high level of service and professionalism across all customer interactions
  • Provide exceptional customer support via phone, email, and in person at the Box Office
  • Perform additional ticket operations and administrative duties as assigned


Additional Duties:

  • Assist with all events held at Durham Bulls Athletic Park
  • Support general Front Office operations, including hiring events, special events, tarp pulls, and other duties typical of a Minor League Baseball front office

Required Qualifications:

  • Positive attitude with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Strong customer-service mindset; organized, motivated, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and all home events
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment; adaptable to feedback, changing priorities, and tight deadlines
  • Prior experience in customer service and/or sales preferred

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling
  • Close vision and ability to differentiate colors
  • Ability to use hands for typing and other essential job functions

Work Conditions:

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to remain focused and productive in noisy, crowded environments with multiple distractions
  • May require working outdoors in varying and unpredictable weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, snow, and wind
