A Capital Analyst is a finance professional who evaluates and manages a company's capital structure, investment strategies, and funding sources. They analyze financial data to help organizations make informed decisions about raising funds, allocating resources, and optimizing returns on investments. To thrive as a Capital Markets Analyst, you need strong analytical skills, financial modeling expertise, and a background in finance, economics, or related fields, often supported by a relevant degree. Familiarity with financial databases (like Bloomberg or Reuters), Excel, and sometimes certifications such as CFA are commonly required.
