Job description

Albany Auto Group is seeking a full-time Title Clerk for our Latham dealership!

Do you have experience working in a dealership, working on completing paperwork related to sales? You will work directly with our sales consultants and F&I Managers to complete deals, stock new cars, and trade. This is an integral position requiring attention to detail, previous experience as a Title/Billing clerk and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties:

  • Prepare tax and title documents
  • Submit all legal transfer documents to the state DMV(s)
  • Receive and process paperwork from the F&I department
  • Match MSO to title paperwork to submit to DMV(s)
  • Prepare and post checks in the accounting system
  • Receive plates from DMV and expedite to dealerships/customers
  • Compile the weekly title in the transit report in Microsoft Excel
  • Light accounting- balancing accounts
  • Professional communication skills
  • Good computer skills
  • A notary or the ability to obtain a Notary Public is a plus

Experience with CDK or another automotive software package is preferred.

Must possess experience as a Title/Billing clerk or similar role with an automotive dealership.
