Libra Solutions is seeking a talented and ambitious person to work as a Capital Markets Analyst. This position reports directly to the Director of Capital Markets and will also have frequent interaction with the Company's CFO and executive management team. The Analyst position offers great experience and exposure to all aspects of growing a private equity-backed company. (Parthenon and New Mile are the two sponsors.) This position will gain a deep understanding of a complex capital markets structure and help guide the Company's liquidity positioning, which is the lifeblood of the Company.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Optimize Libra's capital market stack via analyzing and proposing alternative structures to optimize short and long-term liquidity to meet the Company's growth expectations
  • Develop proficiency in analyzing financing-related legal documentation to not only understand the Company's existing agreements, but also future financing agreements
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of all of the Company's products and of each products' data sets
  • Learn and progressively own the production of the Company's capital markets-related required reporting for lending partners, institutional investors, and internal stakeholders
  • Prepare external marketing materials to assist in managing relationships with rating agencies and investment banks
  • Develop scenario based financial and liquidity models to assess sensitivities of various capital structures on liquidity positioning, cost of funding and growth capacity which would inform Libra's long-term capital markets strategy
  • Develop short and long-term liquidity / cash forecasts which would inform strategic decisions on investments and product structuring based on free cash flow projections
  • Work with the Treasury team to develop balance sheet limits and governance to efficiently manage the Company's capital and maintain minimum liquidity positions / optimizing cash flow
  • Coordinate with the business leadership, Board, and other stakeholders to develop new financing structures for new products
  • Assist in initiatives to increase efficiency of current data extraction processes
  • Contribute to Libra's growth strategy, product roadmap, and performance tracking

Requirements
  • 1-4 years of capital markets and/or financial modeling experience, ideally working at an Investment Bank, Commercial Bank or on a Capital Markets / Treasury team at a financial services organization
  • Bachelor's Degree required (Math, Statistics, Engineering, Finance, Accounting preferred)
  • Strong financial modeling skill set and ability to navigate complex data sets is a must
  • Ability to see the 'big picture' and connect Company's strategic plans with its capital structure
  • Team player and partnership focused individual
  • Solid Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and verbal communication skills
