Dewberry is currently seeking a Project Engineer, who is looking for an opportunity to grow and take on more responsibility, in our Raleigh, NCoffice. As part of our site/civil team, you will make an impact in the community by helping our clients solve their most challenging problems.

Typical projects involve site/civil design for commercial and industrial site development, higher education, parks & recreation and capital improvement projects, water and wastewater, and roadways. Responsibilities
  • Site/civil development including grading design, utility design, roadway design, storm water management systems design, and erosion and sediment control design.
  • Preparation of all associated calculations, reports and spreadsheets.
  • Working on design teams in all aspects of a given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans.
  • Conduct code research, write specifications, and obtain permitting.
Required Skills & Required Experience
  • BS degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 4+ years of experience directly related to design and construction of land development and capital improvement projects.
  • EIT required, PE Preferred
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Water CAD, Storm CAD as well as Microsoft Office programs.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
