Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business toestablisha standalone orthopedics company,operatingas DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation isanticipatedto be completed within 18 to24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may berequired, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. The Senior Manager of Procurement Servicesis responsible forthe leadership of Procurement activities across spend categories,drivingalignment between business and category strategies. The leader will execute strategic business and industry engagement toestablisha reliable,resilientand effective supply base for the company. The Senior Manager of Procurement Services will also be tasked with end-to-end spend management responsibilities, including, but not limited to, Category Management, Supplier Management, Sourcing, Contracting, and Innovation.

The Senior Manager of Procurement Services will be accountable todeliveringaggressive financial targets, includingcostand working capital improvement. Further, the leader will deliver against a balanced value proposition including innovation, environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG), and procurement process excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of category strategies toestablisha world class organization and supply base that the New Consumer Health Company canleverageto create a competitive advantage

  • Align category strategies with the company strategy and goals

  • Deliver financial, performance, and innovation targets

  • Steward financial policy and responsible supplier and procurement standards

  • Leverage and maximize fit for purpose procurement process solutions, including theutilizationof world class digital solutions, use of business process outsourcing, and deployment of internal resources

  • Engage with executive leadership in key supplier relationships

  • Cultivate a culture of inclusion,learningand engagement

  • Benchmark industry best practices and continuously advance procurement capabilities

  • Lead major strategic negotiations for owned categories on behalf of the business

  • Promote digital tools and automation opportunities.

  • Use procurement systems and analytics to generate insights and drive continuous improvement in supplier and sourcing performance.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree isrequired, an MBA or other advanced degree is strongly preferred

  • Comprehensive knowledge of R&D industry isrequired

  • A minimum of 8 years of working experience in procurement or a related discipline isrequired

  • Experience in Procurement and/or Category Management. Experience developing category strategies ormultiyearsourcing roadmaps.

  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of cost drivers, market dynamics, and risktradeoffs.

  • Experiencein sourcing strategy, supplier management, competitivebiddingand complex contract negotiation

  • Proficiencyin Excel, with strong advanced analytics skills to analyze insights, spend, or supplier performance evaluation.

  • Familiarity with digital and AI procurement tools

  • Strong presentation and executive communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with and influence business partners.

  • Demonstrated experience leading complex,crossfunctionalsourcing initiatives/projects.

  • Leadership, communication, influencing, and collaboration skills arerequired

  • Travel up to 10% domestic & international may berequired

  • Strong business acumen - the ability to understand challenges through the eyes of the business leaders

  • Influencing skills - the ability to persuade others to change behavior in pursuit of a common goal

  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills at the senior executive level, as well as with peers

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently present complex information to senior executives

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation -120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado -48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington -56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays -13 days per calendar year
