Position Summary...Walmart is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Energy Center Area Manager to oversee the daily operations of refrigeration and facility energy systems within a Grocery Distribution Center. This role is critical in ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operation of ammonia refrigeration systems and related equipment while leading a team of technicians and associates.

What You'll Do:
Lead Operations:
Implement business plans by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads to meet production, safety, and quality targets.
Drive Performance & Productivity:
Monitor and analyze refrigeration system performance and operational reports to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency.
Ensure Safety & Compliance:
Maintain strict adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements, including OSHA (PSM), EPA, NFPA, DOT, and other applicable standards.
Manage Maintenance Activities:
Oversee daily Energy Center operations, including diagnosing issues and directing repairs across:
oAmmonia refrigeration systems
oElectrical and electronic control systems
oAir compressors and related equipment
oGeneral building systems tied to refrigeration operations
Develop & Lead Teams:
Supervise, coach, and develop associates and leaders by providing feedback, identifying training needs, and supporting hiring, promotion, and performance evaluation processes.
Maintain Quality Standards:
Ensure all associates are trained and compliant with Walmart Logistics policies and procedures, while maintaining proper documentation and operational standards.
Resolve Issues Proactively:
Address associate, supplier, and operational concerns by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
Manage Financial Performance:
Track expenses and capital expenditures against budget, monitor asset utilization, and analyze operational data to drive cost efficiency.
Promote a Safe Work Environment:
Ensure all equipment and tools are in proper working condition, and investigate incidents involving equipment damage, accidents, or safety concerns.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
