OVERVIEW:

Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Store Capacity Analyst is responsible for supporting capacity planning through the development, validation, maintenance, and analysis of capacity-related data and reporting. This role develops store capacity datasets, validates fixture and floorplan information, maintains capacity standards, and analyzes product, fixture, and store-level information to support capacity planning initiatives.

This teammate's emphasis on data accuracy and consistency will be essential in optimizing the Athlete Experience through effective merchandise presentations.

Data Analytics

  • Develop and analyze product, fixture, and store capacity data identifying outliers, patterns, and indicators that inform capacity allocation decisions

  • Conduct fixture and floorplan validation activities to ensure store layouts, fixture configurations, and capacity assumptions accurately reflect established capacity standards and support capacity planning processes

  • Develop, maintain, and validate store-level capacity datasets derived from new store plans and existing store environments

  • Dive into complex data sets to analyze trends, identify opportunities, and quantify the potential value of new initiatives

  • Create unit capacity reporting for all front-of-house and back-of-house departments by developing recurring analytical deliverables, dashboards, and reporting tools that improve visibility into store capacity performance

  • Build a maintain a quality assurance program surrounding fixture dimensions and unit capacity standards, identifying and addressing issues to ensure accuracy in all downstream processes

  • Identify and implement process improvements translating complex data sets into simplified, and actionable frameworks

Continuous Improvement

  • Support the ongoing evolution of capacity methodologies, reporting tools, business rules, and operational processes through documentation and process optimization

  • Conduct thorough analysis to identify opportunities to improve capacity utilization, data accuracy, process efficiency, and possess the ability to identify gaps and propose solutions to business needs

  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of capacity-related data through quality assurance, issue resolution, and governance of standards and business rules

Business Support & Communication

  • Prepare and deliver accurate and concise dashboards, reports, and presentations to support business decisions across multiple levels of leadership

  • Support capacity-related projects through data gathering, analysis, recurring scaled deliverables

  • Strong Athlete focus and ability to meet their needs as a primary driver of one's actions

  • Communicate findings, issues, and opportunities to the Senior Store Capacity Analyst to support capacity planning activities

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 3-5 years of experience in Planning, Allocation and Data Analysis

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (required)

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy (required)

  • Should possess strong communication and presentation skills

  • Experience with Business Intelligence and Data Visualization tools (strongly preferred)

  • SQL and data query experience (preferred)

  • Previous experience with retail analytics (preferred)

  • Space Management Experience (desired)

  • Retail Store Operations Experience (desired)

  • Financial modeling experience is a plus
