Role: Application Monitoring Engineer
Primary Skills: Splunk dashboards & alerting, Dynatrace APM, synthetic monitoring tools (SiteScope, Glassbox, Catchpoint), ITSM systems (Remedy, ServiceNow), Windows/Linux expertise, strong technical & communication skills.
Secondary Skills: Software development exposure, Agile methodology & toolsets (JIRA, BitBucket, Confluence).
POSITION_SUMMARY:
"This Application Monitoring Engineer will be responsible for delivering and supporting monitoring solutions for large-scale network, system, application, service, and business application availability. This position involves the creation, deployment and support of the application and system instrumentation that the company uses to monitor their network, systems and business application portfolio. Individual will work with senior members of the team to gather monitoring requirements from stakeholders and deliver solutions based on direction provided by Monitoring Architect and Monitoring Lead.

REQUIRED_SKILL:
"Strong Technical skills overall
Excellent Communication (written and verbal) Skills
Self-driven individual, who is a continual learner, with good project management skills
Solid understanding of large scale applications, network architectures, monitoring and fault management
Must have 4+ years' experience developing alerting and application dashboards using Splunk as well as utilizing APM tools such as Dynatrace
Minimum 4+ years' experience with implementation of synthetic and business process monitoring tools such as SiteScope, Glassbox, Catchpoint.
Experience with ticketing systems like Remedy or ServiceNow.
Strong understanding and exposure with both Windows and Linux Systems
DESIRED_SKILL:
"Software development experience a plus
Well versed with AGILE toolsets (JIRA, BitBucket, Confluence) and AGILE methodology
Mandatory Skills: Dynatrace AIOPS.
Experience: 5-8 Years.
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
