As our HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a dynamic and inclusive workplace aligned with the evolving market landscape. Your responsibilities encompass strategically managing talent to ensure organizational agility and competitiveness. Collaborating closely with HR and operational leaders, you will contribute to informed decision-making and effective HR practices.
This position entails overseeing the full scope of employee life-cycle generalist duties for your aligned ProMach Division(s), where your strong HR aptitude will drive and implement successful people initiatives at the divisional and corporate levels.

ProMach is hiring a HR Manager to help create a dynamic and inclusive workplace that responds to the changing needs of the market. In this role, you will lead talent initiatives that support agility and strengthen the competitiveness of your assigned ProMach Division(s).

You will work directly with HR and operational leaders to support informed decision-making and consistent HR practices. You will manage the full employee life cycle, from onboarding through offboarding, and carry out initiatives that align with both divisional and corporate goals.

Division Support:

  • Act as a business partner to division leadership; create operational HR strategy that aligns to division's business strategy

  • Provide consultation to division leaders regarding building bench-strength through talent development

  • Develop and support retention plans and methods to counteract clearly identified risks

  • Manage and implement division-level change, such as policy standards, acquisition integration, process improvements, and application of technology and automation

Employee Relations:

  • Consult with internal resources and lead inquiries about employee relations issues

  • Help organize company meetings and events at the facilities, including team-building activities to enhance and improve employee morale and productivity

  • Manage day-to-day benefits questions and requests from employees

  • Supports corporate HR in their oversight of the benefit plans and programs; partner with corporate HR on administering annual compensation, bonus, and commission plans

Talent Acquisition, Management, and Development:

  • Guide hiring managers in developing candidate profiles, sourcing/selection process, compensation, and job offer strategy

  • Act as division subject matter expert specific to WHO Methodology

  • Actively monitor the organizational capabilities from a business and employee development perspective

  • Aid in development and execution of strategies that address each division's high potential talent and poor performers; provide guidance to leaders on how to improve the performance of under-performers

  • Develop and apply creative staffing approaches to find new employees in a quick and cost-effective manner

  • Coach leaders on how to influence and align behaviors to optimize employee performance and goal achievement

  • Lead division-level succession planning activities, including key position identification, and nominating successor candidates

  • Partner with leaders and corporate talent development on successor candidate development, including job skill identification, gap analysis, and development plan creation/oversight

Policy Development and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and orders through the application of advanced knowledge and training

  • Partner with management and corporate EHS to ensure that safety policies and training programs are current, practiced, and enforced

  • Create an environment where safety is valued, and safe behaviors are consistently applied

  • Ensure compliance with all OSHA and other Federal, State and Local safety rules and regulations

  • Help lead the safety and training observation program for facilities

  • Help corporate safety with implementation of company-wide safety programs

  • Partner with leaders and corporate EHS to identify root causes of work-related injuries and illnesses and implement methods to eliminate causes

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on supporting multiple business units

  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations

  • Advanced communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills; comfortable facilitating group meetings with all levels of the organization

  • Experience in design and implementation of training programs

  • Ability to accurately diagnose organizational needs and use political awareness to gain support through the development of a clear strategy and goals

  • Track record of creating and executing effective sourcing and onboarding strategies

  • Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize projects in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented business environment

  • Ability to travel 25% of the time to check in on divisions or department conferences. (Average of once monthly)

  • Can be located in Petaluma, CA or Corona, CA

  • Pay Range: $115,000 - $130,000
