Job Title: Sew Shop Associate / Industrial Sewing Machine Operator (Production Sewing)

- Butler, PA 16001 (On-Site)

- Full-Time

- Pay: $18–$20/hour (based on experience)

- M-F: 830am-5pm; No weekends or holidays

Position Overview

We are seeking a Seamstress / Industrial Sewing Machine Operator to join our production team.

This is a hands-on manufacturing role focused on industrial sewing, fabric cutting, embroidery machine operation, and heat press applications. You will produce durable, functional sewn products used in commercial and government applications.

This is NOT a fashion design role—this is a production and manufacturing position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate industrial sewing machines for high-volume production
  • Perform production sewing with speed, accuracy, and consistency
  • Create and modify sewing patterns and templates for production use
  • Operate embroidery machines for logos and custom applications
  • Use heat press equipment for labeling and finishing
  • Cut large volumes of fabric and textile materials accurately
  • Inspect finished products for quality control and durability
  • Maintain a clean and organized production workspace

Preferred Experience

  • Industrial sewing / sewing machine operator experience
  • Experience in manufacturing, textile production, or fabrication
  • Familiarity with embroidery machines or heat press equipment
  • Background in upholstery, canvas work, automotive interiors, or heavy-duty sewing is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
