Job description

Seat Air Systems is seeking an experienced Industrial Seamstress to join our upholstery team. This role involves sewing leather, vinyl, fabric, and other aircraft upholstery materials with precision and a strong attention to detail. While prior aviation experience is not required, candidates with backgrounds in upholstery, automotive, marine, furniture, canvas, or other industrial sewing fields will find their skills highly transferable. You will be trained on our specific aircraft products and materials to contribute to our custom interiors for private and corporate aircraft.

Responsibilities

  • Sew leather, vinyl, fabric, and other aircraft upholstery materials.
  • Operate industrial sewing machines efficiently and safely.
  • Follow patterns, measurements, and work instructions accurately.
  • Produce high-quality stitching with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy and quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with the upholstery team to complete projects on schedule.
