Job description

Company Description

Join the team redefining how the world experiences design.

Hello, g'day, mabuhay, kia ora, 你好, hallo, vítejte!

Thanks for stopping by. We know job hunting can be a little time consuming and you're probably keen to find out what's on offer, so we'll get straight to the point.

Where and how you can work

Our flagship office is in Sydney, Australia, but we've made our way from down under, to a hub in San Francisco, which is now home to our US operations. We offer flexibility in how and where you work. We trust our Canvanauts to choose the balance that empowers them and their team to achieve their goals.

Job Description

What you’d be doing in this role

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

Canva Print is becoming the world's one-stop shop for all design to print needs — and partnerships are the engine powering it. Every order placed through Canva Print is fulfilled by a third-party print service provider, which means this role directly shapes the customer experience, our commercial outcomes, and our ability to expand globally. You'll be building this function from scratch, which means real ownership from day one.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

  • Owning the global Print Partnerships strategy end-to-end — from partner identification and market mapping through to deal negotiation, contracting, and ongoing relationship management

  • Building executive-level relationships with our most strategic print service providers, becoming Canva's primary face to the print partner ecosystem

  • Leading complex commercial conversations that shape the future of our fulfillment network

  • Partnering closely with Product teams to translate roadmaps and category expansion plans into the partnership capabilities needed to deliver them

  • Designing the team, the playbook, and the operating cadence for Print Partnerships at Canva — this function will look like what you build

  • Coaching and developing a high-performing team of Partner Managers, with clear ownership and a high bar for strategic partnership work

  • Bringing partner insight and market intelligence into how Print shapes its broader strategic direction

You're probably a match if

  • You've built and led partnerships functions at a scaled consumer or commerce company — and you've done it before greenfield

  • You're equally comfortable shaping a multi-year partner network vision and sitting in a contract negotiation

  • You've led complex, high-stakes commercial deals end-to-end and have a track record of moving the needle on financial metrics

  • You build trust quickly with senior external counterparties — you're the person partners want to work with

  • You bring a low-ego, collaborative style that lands well across product, ops, and finance stakeholders

  • You don't need a playbook to get started — you're energised by the chance to write one

About the team
