Job description

Production & Packaging Technicians report to the Production & Packaging Manger and assist in the day-to-day operations of the RTD canning facility.

Duties include setting up, operation of, and breakdown and cleaning of all production equipment on a daily basis. Position also assists in equipment maintenance, shipping and receiving, and general janitorial work throughout the facility.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Assist in canning operation, including setup and breakdown of packaging lines, box building, pack off, walk in organization
  • Learn to operate canning line and associated equipment
  • Cleaning, organizing, and maintenance of all packaging equipment, inventory, and raw materials
  • General janitorial work, i.e., cleaning stainless parts, sweep and scrub floors, duty, etc.
  • Shipping and receiving help
  • Operate a forklift to safely load, unload and move material in the work area per manufacturer's instructions.

Qualified candidates should:

  • Have basic mechanical skills and the ability to operate machinery, including a forklift
  • Maintain organization, discipline, be detail oriented with the ability to multitask
  • Possess excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Have a willingness to assist with tasks outside key responsibilities
  • Have the ability to work in non-temperature-controlled environments, move and maneuver 100+lbs, stand for long periods of time, bend, stoop, reach, twist and crouch repeatedly while working in a loud, fast paced environment.
  • Be able to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly during a 10-hour shift
  • Be able to bend, twist and stoop repeatedly during a 10-hour shift
