Position: Transportation Agent Driver

Location: 840 Brenkman Dr, Pekin, IL 61554

Status: Full-Time

Schedule & Hours:

  • Start Time: As early as 3:00AM
  • Shift Length: Expect long, 8-12 hour days (Finish time is volume-based)
  • Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Days: Monday – Saturday (No Sunday work)

Job Summary

This position requires local travel within the State of Illinois. As a Transport Agent, you will be responsible for the secure, compliant, and efficient delivery of cannabis products from production facilities to licensed cannabis businesses, primarily dispensaries. This role demands exceptional attention to detail to ensure safety, maintain compliance with all state regulations, and ensure accurate record-keeping. As a key member of our team, you’ll be working alongside a partner to ensure security throughout the delivery process. Flexibility is important, as hours can vary, and schedules may fluctuate.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a partner in a professional, cooperative team environment.
  • Safely transport cannabis products to dispensary locations across the state, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements throughout the delivery process,
  • Utilize GPS tools to ensure efficient route navigation and timely deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records of all deliveries to ensure proper documentation.
  • Work with management to streamline delivery processes, optimize route efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular vehicle maintenance checks to ensure the safe operation of company vehicles.
  • Demonstrate a passion for customer service, maintaining a positive, proactive, and solution-focused attitude at all times.

Requirements:
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • At least 1 year of professional driving experience
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • At least 25 years of age
  • Safe and clean driving record
  • Must clear criminal background check
  • License from the Illinois Department Of Agriculture will be required after offer is extended
