Job description

Job Title: Cannabis Technicians
Location: Boonton, NJ
Pay: $18.00 – $20/hour

**This position is in Boonton, NJ.**

We are hiring motivated team members to join a fast-paced cannabis production facility in Boonton, NJ. We currently have openings across four departments: Post-Harvest, Manufacturing, Packaging, and Edibles Production. These positions support the harvesting, processing, manufacturing, and packaging of cannabis products while maintaining strict quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Candidates should be dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a team environment. Cross-training may be provided based on business needs.

Open Departments, Shifts & Pay

Post-Harvest Associate
1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $18.00/hour

  • Assist with cannabis harvesting, drying, and curing processes
  • Trim and manicure flower to meet quality standards
  • Sort product for flower sales, pre-roll production, or lab testing
  • Assemble and prepare pre-roll products for packaging
  • Weigh, label, and record inventory and production data accurately

Manufacturing Technician
1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay: $19.50/hour

  • Operate production equipment and assist with daily manufacturing schedules
  • Measure, fill, weigh, and prepare products according to SOPs and quality standards
  • Monitor product quality and complete required production documentation
  • Maintain organized workstations and support inventory movement as needed

Packaging Technician
2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Pay: $18.50/hour

  • Package, label, and inspect finished cannabis products for accuracy and compliance
  • Operate packaging equipment, scales, and related tools
  • Record production data and assist with material counts and finished goods handling
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient packaging environment

Edibles Production Technician
2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Pay: $20/hour

  • Assist with the preparation, portioning, and packaging of edible cannabis products
  • Follow recipes, SOPs, and sanitation standards during production
  • Inspect products for consistency, quality, and accurate labeling
  • Clean equipment, production areas, and tools in accordance with facility guidelines

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1–2 years of production, manufacturing, warehouse, packaging, or related experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability
  • Basic math, data entry, and computer skills (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older in accordance with New Jersey cannabis regulations
