Job Title: Packager
Job Purpose: The Packager will assist in maintaining quality control measures to ensure high-quality product and carries
out day-to-day tasks including prepping, packaging and labeling in accordance with standards set by Lume.
Cannabis Co. We are willing to train the right candidate that is hard working with a great attitude. If you
have limited experience growing but you want a foot in the door, this is the best way to prove yourself to
our cultivation team.
Essential Functions:
• Responsible for packaging of a wide range of Lume Cannabis products
• Maintain an overall awareness for ensuring high quality and visual aesthetics for retail sale.
• Stage product and packaging supplies to meet daily production schedules.
• Perform quality assurance protocols as designated by Lume. Cannabis Co.
• Responsible for increasing operational efficiency.
• Reduce waste through ownership, teamwork, communication, and collaboration.
• Perform in-process and post-process quality assurance testing and visual inspections.
• Consistently operates in an efficient manner that also complies with all OSHA regulations.
• Break down pounds (quarters, eighths, grams, micro buds, shake)
• Operate cone filling machine, scales, vacuum, and sealer.
• Maintain a sanitized environment.
• Operate with integrity and honesty.
Minimum Qualifications
• Minimum of 21 years of age
• Must pass any and all required background checks.
• Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 30 pounds (100 pounds with assistance)
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Ability to bend, stoop, sit, and stretch for extended periods of time.
Working Conditions
1. Working in a secure facility: Lume Cannabis cultivation and
processing have strict security measures in place to prevent theft or diversion of
cannabis products. This may include cameras, security personnel, and secure
entrances and exits.
2.Work will be performed in a clean and well-ventilated environment:
Additionally, a clean environment will be maintained to prevent contamination
of the product.
3. Lume Cannabis has strict safety protocols in place to prevent injury.
This includes wearing protective gear such as gloves, masks, and goggles, as well
as following proper handling procedures for equipment and chemicals.
Lifting Requirements:
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds independently.
• Occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds with assistance or mechanical aids.
• Frequent bending and stooping to handle items, with the ability to push/pull carts weighing up to 100
pounds.
• Repetitive lifting of up to 25 pounds is expected throughout the workday.
It's important to note that cannabis processing can be physically demanding work, and workers
may be required to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects.
