Job Summary

The Web Specialist (CRO, SEO & Optimization), reporting to the Director, E-Commerce Commercial Canada, is responsible for optimizing Aurora's eCommerce experience to increase conversion rates, enhance patient journeys, and drive measurable business performance. This role leads CRO, SEO, and experimentation initiatives, using data-driven insights to continuously improve digital performance. They develop and execute A/B and multivariate tests, analyze results, and implement enhancements that improve key metrics such as engagement, conversion, and organic traffic.

As the Web Specialist you will...

Conversion Rate & Journey Optimization

    • Lead optimization of patient journeys across browsing PDP, checkout, and post-purchase experiences.
    • Owns conversion rate, engagement, and organic performance KPIs.
    • Identify friction points and improvement opportunities using data, behavioural insights, and user analysis.
    • Maintain and prioritize a backlog of optimization initiatives based on business impact, data insights, and strategic priorities.
    • Guide UX priorities and ensure alignment with CRO roadmap

A/B Testing & Experimentation

    • Develop and manage a CRO and experimentation roadmap aligned with business objectives.
    • Design and execute A/B and multivariate tests, including hypotheses, success metrics, and implementation plans.
    • Analyze results, generate insights, and communicate recommendations to stakeholders.

SEO & Discoverability

    • Own on-site SEO strategy, including taxonomy, categorization, and internal linking.
    • Ensure SEO best practices are integrated into site structure and content (experience with tools such as SEMrush is an asset).
    • Monitor organic performance and identify opportunities to improve visibility and traffic.

Analytics & Reporting

    • Analyze website, journey, and category performance using web analytic tools.
  • Track and report on:
  • Conversion rate (CVR)
  • Bounce rate / drop-off by journey stage
  • Organic traffic growth
  • Revenue per session / AOV
  • Experimentation velocity (tests per month)

Personalization

    • Maintain and evolve the site personalization strategy and framework.
    • Measure performance and optimize content relevance across audience segments and journey strategies.
    • Ad hoc duties as required.

 

You will be setup for success if you have...

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Digital Media, eCommerce or related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in eCommerce optimization, CRO, or digital performance-focused roles.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and executing A/B testing and experimentation programs.
  • Strong expertise in web analytics, data interpretation, and performance measurement.
  • Solid understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Experience with eCommerce platforms (Shopify experience is considered an asset).

  • Strong knowledge of CRO principles and digital customer journey mapping across eCommerce experiences.
  • Proven ability to design, execute, and analyze A/B and multivariate tests to drive data-informed decision-making.
