SUMMARY:

  • We are seeking a functional and analytical IT professional to join our team. This role sits at the intersection of business processes, data, and business intelligence. You will be an expert on our core business systems, configuring them to meet business needs, testing updates, and implementing new features and functionality. You will also be integral to our data and business intelligence stack, including building reports and moving data between systems and databases

 
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Data & Business Intelligence

  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract data from our ERP, CRM, and other business systems
  • Design and maintain interactive dashboards using tools like Power BI / Tableau / Excel
  • Analyze data trends to help department heads (Finance, Sales, Ops) make informed decisions
  • Ensure data integrity by regularly auditing reports against source systems
  • Implement data pipelines using tools such as Boomi, Celigo, or Airflow

Business Analysis & Requirements (The "Ask")

  • Meet with stakeholders to understand their pain points and document requirements for new system features or reports
  • Create process flowcharts and documentation to map out current business workflows
  • Translate business requests into technical specifications for vendors or database administrators

System Configuration & Support (The "Software")

  • Serve as the functional expert for our core applications (e.g., managing user permissions, configuring workflows, or adding custom fields)
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system upgrades or new implementations to ensure nothing breaks
  • Provide support for complex application issues that require data investigation or logic analysis

 
QUALIFICATIONS
Technical Skills:

  • SQL Mastery: Strong hands-on experience writing SQL queries, Views, and Stored Procedures is mandatory. You must be comfortable working directly with the database
  • Data Visualization: Proven experience building reports in Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or SSRS
  • Excel: Advanced proficiency (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP) for quick ad-hoc analysis
  • Systems Knowledge: Experience administering or configuring ERP, CRM, or HRIS platforms (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP) is a strong plus.

Analyst Skills

  • Communication: Ability to explain complex data or system logic to non-technical users in plain English
  • Documentation: Experience writing standard operating procedures (SOPs), functional requirements, and test plans
  • Problem Solving: A logical mindset for troubleshooting system errors or data discrepancies

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in a Business Analyst or Data Analyst role

 
COMPENSATION:

  • In addition to the benefits above, the salary for this role is $95,000-125,000, plus the opportunity to participate in the company's equity and bonus programs. This represents what we believe, in good faith, this role will pay. The final pay will depend on many factors, including years and depth of experience, level, and location of the employee
