Job Description

The Packaging Tech Level I ensures the quality and consistency of our cannabis products on the front lines. This position supports a variety of packaging activities, focusing on hands-on tasks with minimal machine interaction. Primarily responsible for maintaining a clean and compliant work environment. Opportunities for growth and skill development are also available, with clear pathways for career progression and required training, making this role both fulfilling and developmental.

Essential Duties

  • Perform basic cannabis packaging tasks such as labeling, weighing, grinding, crowning, filling, and final packaging.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area, including the Packaging department rooms and immediate workspace, following daily cleaning protocols.
  • Perform regular cleaning on work surfaces, tools, and related equipment.
  • Follow standard procedures for safety and compliance.
  • Report any compliance or safety errors to department leadership.
  • Contribute to the overall safety and maintenance of the workspace.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of cannabis cultivation and packaging processes is preferred but not required.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining product quality.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age (as per legal requirements).
  • Must be able to obtain a state medical marijuana badge and pass a background check.
  • Reliable transportation


Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
  • The ability to respond quickly to sounds.
  • The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations.
  • The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly.
  • The ability to sit or stand for up to 12 hours at a time.
