Job description

Production Team Member - Tigard

Work Hours:

M-F 6:00AM - 2:30PM or 7:00AM - 3:30PM

Fire Dept. Cannabis is a fast-growing Portland-based cannabis product line and production company that distributes to 250+ dispensaries across the State of Oregon. We produce a vast array of products, including edibles (cookies, rice crispy treats, gummies), kief, extracts, and a full line of pre-rolls (infused, single units, multipacks, hemp-wrapped blunts) with new products coming out regularly.

We are seeking a production team member to assist with the manufacturing, packaging and labeling of all Fire Dept. and Feel Goods cannabis products.

Responsibilities and Duties:

The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

  • Adhering to all standard operating procedures (SOPs);
  • Twisting tips on pre-rolls;
  • Sorting pre-rolls and conducting quality control;
  • Running kief, pressing rosin, and filling cartridges;
  • Mixing infused material and making infused pre-rolls;
  • Gramming kief and extracts;
  • Completing production logs to track products and quotas;
  • Packaging and labeling individual cannabis products and packaging them into point-of-sales boxes;
  • Assisting kitchen team with labeling and packaging as needed;
  • Adapting to changes in processes or protocols, and following instructions from leads and supervisors;
  • Recording the commencement or completion of certain tasks, as specified by Fire Department's Standard Operating Procedures and state law;
  • Other duties as assigned and needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Must possess an OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit;
  • Must be 21 of age or over (OLCC regulation);
  • High school diploma or GED;
  • Attention to detail and organization skills;
  • The ability to lift up to 25 lbs;
  • The ability to speak, read and write English proficiently;
  • The ability to understand and comply with sanitation and safety regulations;
  • The ability to work quickly and accurately;
  • The ability to work independently in a room with others;
  • The ability to adapt to changing circumstances without notice.
