Cannabis extraction using hydrocarbons
- Perform the following types of cannabis oil extractions:
- supercritical fluid extraction
- closed loop extraction
- simple distillation
- short path distillation
- wiped film distillation
- fractional distillation
- solventless cannabis extraction
- ethanol extraction
- Work in hazardous environments and conditions
Hazardous material handling experience
- Display proficiency when safely handling hazardous materials such as:
- butane
- propane
- ethanol
- pentane
- isopropyl alcohol
- critically hot material
- cryogenic material
Responsibilities
- Preparing equipment and plant materials for extraction
- Operating highly sophisticated extraction equipment
- Processing concentrates and extracts
- Cleaning and maintenance of extraction equipment and laboratory facility
