Job description

The Post-Processing Technician is responsible for refining, purifying, and preparing cannabis extracts produced from a Luna hydrocarbon extraction system. This role ensures products meet quality, safety, and production standards while maintaining compliance with state regulations and company SOPs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor post-processing equipment following extraction.
  • Perform solvent recovery, winterization, filtration, decarboxylation, and distillation processes.
  • Assist with hydrocarbon extraction operations using Luna extraction equipment.
  • Prepare biomass and materials for extraction runs.
  • Transfer, label, and track cannabis materials using inventory systems such as METRC.
  • Monitor temperatures, pressures, vacuum levels, and process parameters.
  • Collect samples for quality testing and maintain batch records.
  • Clean and sanitize extraction and processing equipment.
  • Follow all safety procedures related to flammable solvents and cannabis processing.
  • Coordinate with packaging and production teams to ensure workflow efficiency.
