Cirona’s custom formulation approach scans an R&D library of over 900 ingredients, using data-driven science to create the most compatible match possible.The OpportunityCirona Labs is hiring an entry-level Extraction Assistant to help keep our Extraction Department running safely, cleanly, and on-spec. This role exists to support technicians by preparing materials, maintaining compliance, and building the foundational skills needed for a career in regulated manufacturing.Key responsibilities:- Prepare and pack biomass for ethanol and hydrocarbon extraction; verify weights, labels, and SOP steps- Stage materials, support load-in/load-out, and assist with production tasks under supervision- Clean extraction bags, glassware, tools, and work areas to sanitation standards- Weigh biomass/solvents/materials on precision scales and help with inventory tracking- Handle waste, storage, and labeling requirements; report spills or equipment concerns promptly- Follow all safety rules, including PPE and solvent-handling requirementsRequired qualifications/skills:- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet in a fast-paced, regulated environment- Detail-oriented, able to follow written procedures, and comfortable with basic lab toolsApply to launch your career and grow your hands-on skills with our team.Your Shift FlowYou’ll work onsite in Rochester, NY on one of two full-time shifts (7:00am–3:30pm or 2:00pm–10:30pm).
