What is cannabis hash extraction?

Cannabis hash extraction is the process of separating the resin glands, or trichomes, from the cannabis plant to produce hash, a concentrated form of cannabis. This can be done using a variety of methods, including dry sifting, ice water extraction, or the use of solvents like butane or CO2. The goal is to collect the potent cannabinoids and terpenes while leaving behind most of the plant material. Hash is prized for its higher potency and unique flavor profiles compared to traditional cannabis flower. Extracted hash can be consumed on its own or used to make other cannabis products.
