Job description

House of Dank is currently seeking a Social Media, Marketing & Event Coordinator for our Corporate location based out of Madison Heights, MI.
We're seeking a creative, hands-on coordinator to manage and grow our brand's presence
across social media, support marketing campaigns and promotions, and help plan and run
store events and vendor activations. The ideal candidate connects marketing, design, buying,
and store teams to keep our content, promotions, and events accurate, timely, and on-brand.
What You'll Do...
โ€ข Create, schedule, and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, LinkedIn,
and other approved platforms
โ€ข Develop and maintain weekly and monthly content calendars aligned with campaigns,
promotions, and events
โ€ข Write captions, promotional copy, Stories, Reels, and event announcements in the House
of Dank brand voice
โ€ข Create or coordinate short-form video, photography, and graphics using Canva, Adobe
Creative Cloud, and approved tools
โ€ข Monitor comments, messages, reviews, and mentions; respond promptly or route to the
right department
โ€ข Keep social content accurate by confirming current menu images, deals, and store details
before publishing
โ€ข Coordinate day-to-day marketing campaigns and act as a point of contact across
marketing, buying, and store teams
โ€ข Manage the Monday.com marketing board so requests move through intake, approval,
and completion
โ€ข Help plan and execute store events, vendor days, grand openings, and sponsorship
activations
โ€ข Attend selected events to capture live content, support setup/teardown, and supervise
brand presentation
โ€ข Coordinate influencer outreach, content requirements, and posting schedules
โ€ข Track social media growth, engagement, and campaign performance, and prepare
regular reports
What We're Looking For...
โ€ข Cannabis industry experience strongly preferred
โ€ข Must be 21 years of age or older
โ€ข Two or more years of experience in social media, marketing coordination, retail
marketing, or events preferred
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field (or
equivalent experience) preferred
โ€ข Strong understanding of social platforms, content trends, and analytics tools
โ€ข Excellent written communication and storytelling skills
โ€ข Basic graphic design or video editing skills; Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud experience a
plus
โ€ข Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
โ€ข Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, with occasional
evening/weekend/holiday availability for events
