UNDERSTANDING

Retail Sales Associates are viewed as brand ambassadors. These team members come to work everyday with a smile on their face ready to provide the World's Best Customer Experience. Our retail store is a high energy environment, and you feel that as soon as you walk in the door. These team members are ready to jump into the fast past and tackle every day with a positive attitude. On any given day you may interact with hundreds of customers, from children to grandparents, everyone loves Albanese so you never know who you will get the opportunity to meet and personally impact. This team is always hustling and refusing to settle for anything less than World's Best, however, we are a candy store, so we certainly do have fun!

This team member supports Retail Operations but may also support other departments at the direction of management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Recommend, select, or obtain merchandise based on customer needs.
  • Ring up customers purchase using our point of sales system.
  • Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
  • Maintain knowledge of current policies and procedures
  • Prepare merchandise for purchase, stock shelves, fill bins, bag/box/put candy in trays and assist with decorating.
  • Perform cleaning duties to keep in line with Health Code such as vacuuming, moping, washing bins/counters/shelves, bathrooms, taking out trash, cleaning up trash outside etc...
  • Responsible for monitoring quality
  • Comply with all company quality, HACCP, GMP, and Food Safety Standards as well as safety policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent interpersonal skills - team player
  • Hard worker who is a self-starter and proactive
  • Must be able to multitask
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Making decisions and problem solving
  • Must be detailed oriented
  • Must have proficiency in basic math
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for up to 10 hours
  • No experience is required.

HOURS WORKED

  • 8-hour shifts between 8:30am-10:00pm.
  • Open Availabilitypreferred.
