What is a candle maker?

Candle makers, also known as chandlers, are professionals who create candles using various methods and materials such as wax, wicks, fragrances, and dyes. They may work by handcrafting artisanal candles or operating machinery in commercial settings to produce candles on a larger scale. Candle makers need to understand the properties of different waxes, scent blending, and safe production techniques. Their work is used for decorative, aromatic, and functional lighting purposes. Many candle makers also handle packaging, labeling, and sometimes even marketing their products.
