Job description

The Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center (SCCC) at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX seeks applications for an Assistant Instructor in the area of breast cancer research. Candidates must hold a Ph.D.
UT Southwestern has a long and distinguished history of excellence in disease-related basic science research. The SCCC is recruiting outstanding individuals to investigate:
  • Discovery of mechanisms of resistance to antiestrogen therapy in breast cancer
  • Genomic profiling of drug-resistant ER+ and triple negative breast cancer
  • Mechanism of action of gain of function oncogenes in breast cancer and their use as predictive biomarkers of response to targeted therapies
