Job Details
The Recyling Technician is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, providing high quality service levels, maintaining proper supply levels, adhering to company policies, and assisting to provide a safe working environment. This person must be energetic, enthusiastic, and possess great interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group of people and maintain a strong commitment to customer service.
Job responsibilities:
  • The primary responsibilities includes sorting and organizing metals, glass, wood, paper, plastic, electronics and more into their appropriate containers.
  • Load and unload recyclables onto trucks.
  • Clean materials as needed for recycling requirements which may include the use of saws, blowtorches, and other power tools for proper disposal.
  • Other duties include operating forklifts, pallet jacks, power lifts, and other heavy equipment.
  • Power industrial vehicle experience is preferred, but can train.
  • This position will require an employee to operate a motorized pallet jack.
  • Be able to work in a cold environment-such as a freezer.
  • Proper coveralls for the cold environment will be provided.
  • Operating a power industrial vehicle to remove boxes, banding, plastic from the shop floor.
  • Assist with some cleaning.
  • Must be reliable and have an eye for detail.

    • Stand and walk for long periods of time

    • Able to work flexible hours including evenings
  • Full-Time 1st and 2nd Shift
  • Monday-Friday 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm
  • $15/hour
