Job Summary
Seeking a System Engineer with experience in Drive-By-Wire (DBW), Autonomous Vehicle Systems, Machine Controls, Functional Safety, System Integration, and Validation. The candidate will be responsible for system architecture, requirements engineering, diagnostics, safety analysis, integration, and verification of next-generation autonomous vehicle platforms.
Key Responsibilities
  • Define system architecture, subsystem interfaces, ICDs, and requirements traceability.
  • Lead requirements decomposition across software, controls, electrical, and vehicle subsystems.
  • Perform system-level analysis including FMEA, STPA, Hazard Analysis, and Functional Safety activities.
  • Develop CAN/J1939/Ethernet communication architectures, diagnostics, fail-safe strategies, and fault management.
  • Coordinate SIL, HIL, fault injection, integration, and vehicle validation activities.
  • Analyze system performance, investigate failures, and perform root-cause analysis.
  • Support calibration, tuning, deployment, and on-machine validation.
  • Participate in design reviews, technical reviews, and customer discussions.
  • Maintain system requirements, verification artifacts, risk registers, and compliance documentation.
