About the role:

We are seeking a customer-centric and highly experienced Manager to lead our Campus Security and Emergency Response program. Reporting to the Global Security Manager, Workplace & Events, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for our employees, visitors, and assets across our buildings at our headquarters. This role requires a strong leader with exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, and a proven ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders, law enforcement agencies, and external vendors.

This role is based in San Mateo, Ca (Mon - Fri)

You will:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure the safety and security of our campuses.
  • Lead the emergency response program, including developing and conducting regular trainings and drills to ensure preparedness for various emergency situations.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local law enforcement agencies and emergency response organizations to facilitate collaboration and information sharing.
  • Oversee the management of security vendors, including contract negotiations, performance monitoring, and ensuring service level agreements are met.
  • Manage access control systems and procedures to ensure the appropriate levels of security are maintained while providing a seamless experience for employees and visitors.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
  • Promote a culture of safety and security awareness through communication, training, and engagement with employees.
  • Stay updated on standard methodologies and emerging security threats to proactively improve campus security measures.
  • Responsible for managing, forecasting, and maintaining Campus Security Budgets
  • May support the expansion and launch of new Roblox offices globally.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, and workflows for Campus Security Operations.
  • Provide support to event security operations for high-profile internal and external events
You Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in security management, with a focus on campus security and emergency response.
  • Proven experience leading and managing a team of security professionals.
  • Strong understanding of security technologies, risk assessment methodologies, and emergency management procedures.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse audiences.
  • Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
  • Proficient in access control systems and security management software.
